Aluminil Si5 is an aluminum electrode with a special coating for welding AlSi alloys (max. 2%Si), aluminum cast alloys (max. 7%Si) and dissimilar Alalloys. Material has a universal application area and can also be processed autogenously. The electrode has a white coating specially developed to limit moisture absorption as much as possible. It is recommended to thoroughly clean workpieces and to preheat thicker sheet material (>15mm) to 150°C / 250°C.
